Funky Koreatown has Unique & Hip Korean T-Shirts!
-
While I was looking around the net to find the dirt on the KPOP scene I came across this fantastic website called Funky Koreatown. I must say that these guys have it going on! We all see those funny t-shirts that can be found on the net… and while some of them are interesting… they do not have that Korean flare. That is the beauty of these shirts. The quality is fantastic, the designs are original, and the prices are inexpensive.Funky Koreatown is a Korean owned business based out of Annandale, VA, the unofficial Ktown of Virginia. They are committed to providing the best funky Korean t-shirts on the planet, with bold & colorful designs.
I exchanged some emails with the owner and got an insight into the business. The owner of Funky Koreatown was looking to buy a humorous Korean t-shirt for someone. Searching high & low, one was eventually found one off a POD site (Print on Demand), but he soon realized that the selection was rather slim. In fact, most of the designs were some text slogans in some unoriginal font. The rest of them had fairly unprofessional, clipart type graphics. It was at that time that he decided that he could do it better!
Funky Koreatown created some initial designs & started selling shirts on the same POD site, achieving success by offering higher quality & funnier Korean tees than the rest. Now they are totally independent, meaning that they are able to provide even higher quality t-shirts, all at a lower price… and we can all use lower prices these days.
