Director Clarence Fok and writer Wong Jing, the same guys behind the 2006 horror-comedy Don't Open Your Eyes, reunite for Dating a Vampire. This fun and frightening flick features a hot young cast, including actor-singer Alex Fong Lik Sun, and his fellow Gold Label labelmate Miki Yeung, of the band Cookies. The two young stars are joined by sexy Zuki Lee (Kung Fu Mahjong 2), Commercial Radio DJ Sammy (My Sweeties), rising action star Andy On (New Police Story), and the always entertaining Yuen Wah (Kung Fu Hustle) for this amusing cross between the classic Chinese Ghost Story films and the 1986 US film Fright Night.
Eric (Alex Fong) and Cheung (Sammy) are two med students who rent a flat in a deserted housing estate to study for their upcoming finals. But something is definitely wrong with their new digs; Eric hears weird noises everywhere, and soon he spots a dying man in a stairwell! At the same time, Eric meets the pretty Jade (Miki Yeung), and develops a close fondness for her. But occult expert Mister M (Yuen Wah) discovers that Jade and her two sisters (Zuki Lee and Cynthia Ho) are actually vampires. The female vampires must devour the souls of many bad men to become immune to sunlight, but must also consume one good man to finally break their curse. The only good man around is Eric, but Jade doesn't want him to die…
