Park Jin-young, president of JYP Entertainment, made his comeback as a singer at the 30th Blue Dragon Awards ceremony on Wednesday night, wowing the audience and TV viewers with a charismatic and provocative performance.

At the star-studded awards gala, which was also broadcast live on television, Park performed “No Love No More,” a track off his mini-album, “Sad Freedom.” It was his first performance as a singer in about two years.

While Park sang his hit song, “Honey,” he approached some top actresses and showcased some of his trademark provocative dance moves.

The comeback performance drew enthusiastic responses from many netizens, living up to his promise to fans that he would not disappoint them.

In a letter to his fans posted on his Web site the previous day, he wrote, “I’m very happy to be back as a singer again though it will be only for a month before I go back to being a producer in January.”

Park also wrote about the strong connection he feels with the three songs that comprise the mini album. “I prepared for a long time and wrote these songs after I went through certain experiences last winter and spring.”

He said he is ready to give strong performances to back the mini-album.

“My goal is to make my fans feel proud of me and grow older together,” he said.

Park, producer of pop group the Wonder Girls, will hold his “Bad Party: There is No Love” concerts from Dec. 23 to 26 at Olympic Hall, Olympic Park.
