The Lady Killer, the 1977 Golden Harvest production directed by Zhu Mu (Hello Sexy Late Homecomers) is notable for being one of the earlier efforts in the decade-spanning career of Taiwan singer-actress Sylvia Chang. The cautionary tale is centered on club singer Fai (Bruce Lee's younger brother Robert Lee Jun Fai) who is young and handsome and very popular with the female patrons. However, little does he know that the club manager, Fong (Zhu Mu), is actually using him as bait to lure teenage girls into prostitution. He is blackmailed into co-operation after he is set up by Fong and framed for a murder. Lucky for him, a fan of his named Ling (Sylvia Chang) comes to his rescue! The plucky girl helps Fai expose the wrongdoings of Fong, and even counter-blackmail him with the criminal evidence they gathered!
