Kobukuro scored another Oricon #2 hit with the Japan Airlines CM song Niji, and are now returning with their 18th single. Stay is their theme song contribution to the TBS drama series Kanryoutachi no Natsu, based on a novel by late author Shiroyama Saburou. Also featured on Stay are the side tracks Freedom Train and Kimi to itai no ni.

First Press Limited Edition comes with a DVD featuring behind-the-scenes footage of Stay and a documentary covering the Kobukuro Fan Festa 2009 recorded at Wakayama Big Whale on March 22, 2009.
