So SM Entertainment’s Canadian auditions are almost here. SM Entertainment will be in Ontario at the Toronto Korean Center and the Executive Plaza Hotel in Coquitlam in British Columbia on Sunday November 22nd.

    Will I see you there?

SM Entertainment is looking for singers, actors / actresses, models, dancers, composers, and lyricists.
You can register by emailing to 2009sm@smtown.com or by registering directly at the specified locations. However, those who register via email will have priority.

For your email you must provide the following information:
    1. Name / Gender
    2. Nationality / Ethnicity
    3. Location of choice for audition
    4. Category applying for
    5. Date of birth
    6. Contact information (Phone and email)
    7. Address

How to prepare for your audition:

    1. Singers will be asked to sing a cappella without an MR or microphone (think Canadian Idol). You can sing a cover of your favourite song or an original.

    2. Dancers will be asked to dance freestyle. CD is to be brought by each individual applicant.

    3. Actors and actresses will need to do some impromptu acting. Scripts / monologues are to be memorized and brought by each individual applicant.

    4. Models for fashion and / or commercial will be asked to strike a pose.

    5. Composers and lyricists will be asked to submit original demo cd’s or musical scores.

Above all else you need to remember to relax and be yourself. You want them to see the starting package so that they know what they have to work with.

Directions to the Toronto audition can be found here.
