Morning Musume returns with their first original album since Sexy Beat, released in March 2007. Platinum 9 Disc features 13 tracks, including four live songs led by their Oricon no. 6 hit Mikan (Track and their latest single Naichaukamo (Track 5). Also among the featured songs are the earlier live songs Guru Guru Jump (Track 7), Take off is now, and Ame no Furanai Hoshi dewa Aisenai Darou? (Track 3), previously unavailable on CD. Also appearing for the first time on CD are solo songs by band members Kamei Eri, Michishige Sayumi, and Mitsui Aika.

First Press Limited Editions come with a DVD featuring live video and solo music video footage.
