Popular visual band SID makes their major debut complete with their first major album Hikari. SID tried out a variety of rock sounds in their new 11-track album which includes their last three singles, all of which entered the Oricon top 3 – Full Metal Alchemist ending theme Uso, 2 Dome no Kanojo, and their 2008 major debut single, the Kuro Shitsuji opening theme Monokuro no Kiss. Plus, there are eight other new songs to rock out to.

First Press Limited Edition B comes with a DVD containing around 30 minutes of live and documentary footage from Tour 2009 Sakurasaku. Edition A and Edition B DVDs contain different content.
