Wondergirls in Toronto

The Wonder Girls will be up here in the land of the maples syrup at the end of August. Here is my opinion about that. Everyone that goes to the concert will go there for the Wonder Girls and the Wonder Girls alone. Don’t get me wrong, there will be tonnes of teens going crazy over the Jonas Brothers in the audience.

However, Toronto has the 2nd largest Asian community in Canada and is one of the largest cities in North America. For example, Toronto has 2 Korea Towns, 5 separate China Towns, 1 Japan Town, and 1 areas that is a big mix-up of everything. When you go to the bank machine by my house you have the option for English, French, Mandarin, and Korean. I haven’t even scratched the surface here.

JYP is doing the right thing by bringing the Wonder Girls to Toronto… and Canada in general. After all, it is quite boring up here and we have all of this expensive money which is itching to be spent.

I hope that by having the Wonder Girls in Canada it might start something new and open up the doors for other Asian artists to come here. That is the reason for my website… I am trying to give a voice to the Canadian Kpop community. We have our own Kollaboration, we have our own stars (remember Alex from Clazziquai), and we have our own Kpop fan site…

We hunger for attention… and we are usually disappointed (remember Rain’s flurry of concert cancellations). The Wonder Girls coming to Toronto will be a fresh change.
