So… since Ran has finished his filming for Ninja Assassin and has finished his ongoing legal disputes he is now ready to return to the bright lights of the concert stage.

Rain will resume his singing activities in August by launching an All Asia tour. The singer has settled his legal disputes over his canceled Hawaii concert and will hold an overseas concert tour for the first time in two years. On November 25 – Rain’s birthday – he will release his Hollywood debut production “Ninja Assassin” and will appear in domestic TV dramas later this year.

Here is my opinion on this… Rain is a singer and always will be a singer. He may dabble in acting from time to time but his meat and potatoes comes from singing. It will be interesting to see how his new movie will do. I remember watching that movie where he fell in love with a girl who thought she was a cyborg… BORING. He is smart to do his tour in Asia though. I don’t think he will be well received in North America since his last go around with all of those cancelations. There were quite a few people in Toronto who got burnt by his cancelations…
