This is EXCITING news! Kollaboration’s Acoustic 3 show will take place on August 22nd at the Ford Amphitheater.

For those of you who don’t know what Kollaboration’s Acoustic show is about I will quote their official press release…

“Acoustic 3 will bring to the arena musicians that perform their vocals with various non-electrical instruments such as percussion, string and woodwind instruments.  As an annual talent competition, 10 musical acts were selected after a competitive round of auditions in front of Kollaboration judges.”

Why is this event so important? It brings new hopeful talent to the forefront. These 10 musical acts put their heart and soul into thier gift for music and it is up to us to encourage them in every way that we can.

The 10 performers will be Gabe Bondoc, Mike Isberto, AJ Rafael Band, Susanna Yoon, Afraid of Everest, Jinah Kim, Megan Lee, David Tran aka Applesauce, Yoori Park and Alfa Garcia. On top of that Verizon wireless will provide “a live Verizon Wireless Audience Choice Award Winner will also receive $1,000 via text message voting from the audience in attendance that evening.”

In addition to the “musical raw talent”, Monrok (a comedian with a very loyal following at  The Comedy Store, The Hollywood Improv, and the Ice House. Also, comedian Jimmy Brogan will be in attendance. Jimmy has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, the Late Night Show David Letterman, and the Tonight Show with Johny Carson.

There will also be a number of other guest performers and judges in attendance.

Kollaboration Acoustic 3 will take place at the Ford Amphitheater which will seat 1200 people and is located at 2850 Cahuenga Blvd. East, Hollywood, CA 90068 (located off of the 101 Hollywood Freeway across from the Hollywood Bowl and south of Universal Studios.

Tickets will be priced at $25 USD and will be $12 USD for children under 12 and full time students (with student ID). Above everything else, this event is for having Fun and “empowering through entertainment“! Thier goal is to fill the entire 1200 seats and we are going to help them with that goal. Go on twitter and invite your friends in that area to attend the show! Help them supporth thier amazing lalent!
