For those of you who read my last article… you may remember when I stated that JYP needs some help from someone who knows the North American marketplace.

Well, JYP has not been sitting still it seems. JYP Entertainment is currently looking for a full time Online Marketing Assistant. Here is the details of the job description:

JYP Entertainment seeks a skilled internet marketing assistant with 2-3 years of professional experience and/or with a marketing degree with various online marketing projects/online networking websites. Our ideal candidate must have articulate communication skills – both oral and written – and be able to assist with several marketing/business development projects simultaneously. He/she must be someone who has passion for the entertainment industry and be comfortable with exploring and testing new marketing ideas to market our JYP artists in both US and Asia, and have the ability to multitask in a creative, fast paced environment on multiple projects with varying deadlines.

Requirements:
-Have passion for JYPE’s vision, artists and creative contents
-2-3 years of professional work experience in marketing in the entertainment industry (particularly online marketing, research and artist development)
-Proactive, articulate, multi-tasker to work in a fast-paced, thriving working environment
-Must be comfortable working with Asian-American coworkers and artists
-Active on internet networking websites and have innovative, effective marketing ideas to promote artists online
