Korean Singer Ivy

K-pop singer Ivy is poised to return in two years to the stage after resolving conflicts with her agency, Yonhap News Agency reported Monday. The singer, 27, has been off the radar since 2007 due to conflicts that came about after Ivy’s former boyfriend threatened her with personal videos that the couple had supposedly filmed together.

Ivy went to see her music agency earlier this month and told them that she hoped to sing again, Yonhap said. Ivy quit during production of a new album last year due to the personal issues that she was going thorugh at the time.

Yonhap quoted an agency official as saying, “We are just beginning to resume our suspended album production.”

Ivy made her debut in 2005 with her first album “My Sweet and Free Day.” The album was a minor hit and after a one-year hiatus, she released her second album, “A Sweet Moment,” which spawned the hit “Sonata of Temptation.”
